About the James Madison Graduate Fellowship
The James Madison Memorial Fellowship Foundation awards $24,000 James Madison Graduate Fellowships to people who want to become outstanding secondary school teachers of the American Constitution.
The scholarship can be applied to any US accredited institution based in the United States. All fellowship recipients will also partake in a summer institute on the Constitution, a trademark portion of the fellowship program.
To be eligible for the James Madison Graduate Fellowship, candidates must ensure the following:
- The award is available for both domestic and international students.
- Applicants must participate in full-time study at US accredited institution based in the United States.
- The award is available for graduate courses offered in the University.
- An outstanding academic record.
- Proven English proficiency.
- The James Madison Graduate Fellowship award covers US$24,000 towards a Master’s degree in either American history, teaching, or education.
NOTE: Students must be determined to become an American history teacher after completing their studies.
