About the Flutterwave Graduate Trainee Program
The Graduate Trainee Development Program prepares graduates for success by providing them with the knowledge, resources, and experience they need. Working alongside specialists in the industry, you will gain technical experience in a professional setting, ensuring you build the skills necessary for your career advancement.

The program allows for the development and assessment of new graduates’ talents through:
- A planned and structured program
- On-the-job training
- Periodic assessment and review of progress
- Exposure to the world of fintech and startups
- Potential placement within Flutterwave upon completion of the program
The Flutterwave Graduate Trainee Program is generally structured to last for 12 months, with at least one potential rotation lasting around six months, although it is flexible depending on your developmental goals and the department’s ongoing projects.
Trainees may be offered a full-time analyst position in a department within flutterwave upon successful completion of the program. Initial placement will be made after taking recommendations from trainee supervisors and the Program Manager, the trainee’s strengths and preferences, and Flutterwave’s business needs.
Eligibility Criteria
- Applicants must physically be based in Nigeria
- Only those who graduated on or after December 2020 are eligible.
- Less than 16 months of experience (including internships)
- A computer science degree
- Available to begin on August 1st and physically present in Lagos for the two-week onboarding sessions
- Willing to commit to a 12-month period
- A keen interest in the field of fintech
