Submissions are being invited for the 2021 GivingTuesday Nigeria #MyGivingStory Challenge for Nigerians. GivingTuesday is a global day of charity that mobilizes individuals and organizations to impact their communities and the globe.
The movement began in 2012 in New York with a simple concept: a day dedicated to encouraging people to do good. It has developed into a global movement in over 60 countries, including Nigeria, inspiring hundreds of millions of people to contribute, collaborate, and celebrate charity during the last seven years.
About the #MyGivingStory Challenge
The #MyGivingStory challenge is a monthly public competition organized by GivingTuesday Nigeria in partnership with Noble Missions and sponsored by I Take Actions to foster greater generosity in Nigeria.

All participants need to do is explain GivingTuesday Nigeria in a 30-second video what they can do with N10,000 to help someone in their community, and on a monthly basis, the top five videos will be included in public voting, with the video receiving the most votes receiving N10,000!
Eligibility Criteria
- Open to Nigerians only;
- You video submission must be clear enough, both audio and visual.
Benefit
A sum of 10,000 Naira will be given for the winner to implement as shared in the story.

Application Procedure
To participate in the #MyGivingStory challenge, you simply need to create a video. You can record and upload a selfie with your phone. Make no edits to the video. Additionally, the video should not exceed 30 seconds in length. Briefly explain what you plan to do with N10,000 to help someone in your community and why you choose this individual to assist.
