Through the 2024 call for applications by the International Fund for Cultural Diversity (IFCD), UNESCO reaffirms its dedication to enhancing cultural and creative industries in developing countries. These industries are essential for safeguarding and promoting cultural diversity, fostering creativity and innovation, and contributing to a more sustainable global community.

Eligibility Criteria

Project proposals should contribute to:

Public institutions and non-governmental organizations (NGOs) from eligible countries are invited to submit their proposals, as well as international NGOs registered in countries that are Parties to the 2005 Convention. 

Benefit

The UNESCO International Fund for Cultural Diversity will provide funding for innovative projects, offering up to $100,000 for implementation over a period of 12 to 24 months. Projects undergo evaluation based on their relevance, feasibility, financial management capacity, and anticipated outcomes.
