The UNESCO Poland Fellowships began in 2012 and intend to enhance capacity building and research activities in the fields of science and engineering in the UNESCO Member States. Beneficiaries of these fellowships will be able to pursue an independent research program in science, technology, and engineering at the AGH University of Science and Technology in Krakow for six (6) months beginning October 1st.

Eligibility Criteria| UNESCO Poland Fellowships
- Applicants must have a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree.
Applicants from countries other than their own may frequently be required to meet stringent English language/other language criteria in order to study there.
Candidates must possess a Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng) or Master of Engineering (M.Eng) degree. - English reading and writing skills are required.

Applicants should have the following documents:
- ALL four (4) pages of the UNESCO fellowship application forms, including the medical certificate, must be filled in English using capital letters (illegible documents will be excluded from the procedure; handwriting forms must only include capital letters);
- two (46) cm pictures linked to the applications
- Certified copies (in English) of earned Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD degrees; and
- If the candidate’s mother tongue is not English, a UNESCO certificate of language understanding must be completed by a relevant authority.
- Two letters of recommendation from people who are familiar with the candidate’s work, as well as a letter confirming the candidate’s qualifications.

NOTE: This program is available through an open competition. All applications must go through the candidate’s country’s National Commission for UNESCO.
