Applications for the Africa Blockchain Incubation Program 2024 are now open. The Africa Blockchain Incubation Program is a six-month initiative dedicated to fostering and supporting emerging blockchain innovators across the continent. As the program’s fourth edition, it has successfully incubated diverse blockchain startups from various African regions. Participants in the ABI Incubation Program commend its impactful experience, citing an extensive curriculum, valuable mentorship, and access to resources for early-stage startups.

Eligibility Criteria: Africa Blockchain Incubation Program

We are looking for ambitious individuals who are forward-thinking, innovative, and ready to take on challenges in creating the next big thing. These individuals must be dedicated and committed to the project, hardworking, and have strong backgrounds in computer science (with expertise in object-oriented languages), mathematics, statistics, business/entrepreneurship, economics, cryptography, blockchain, and any other related fields.

  • Must be between 20 – 35 years of age.
  • Priorities are given to female applications.
  • Strong business case and market potential.
  • Both idea-stage and early-stage (1-year) companies are encouraged to apply.

The Africa Blockchain Incubation Program concentrates on promoting innovation and enhancing Africa’s presence in the global blockchain landscape. Chosen participants will undergo training, receive mentorship, and access resources to facilitate the realization of their ideas.

  • Experience a 4-month program crafting and launching your blockchain projects: March 1–June 30, 2024
  • The program ends with Demo Day, allowing startups to showcase to the ecosystem: June 2024
  • After the incubation, candidates enjoy the following post-incubation support: July 2024
