About the AES Engineering Scholarships
AES believes that a good grade point average should not be the main criterion for determining who is eligible for assistance. As a result, we are awarding a scholarship based on character, as assessed by a review of the essays that are submitted.

Eligibility Criteria
- The AES Engineering scholarship is open to high school seniors and all students attending a post-secondary educational facility.
- You are not required to be taking Engineering courses to be eligible.

Application Procedure
Applicants interested in the AES Engineering scholarship must write an essay of 500 to 1000 words in response to the following question:
When you look back on your life in 30 years, what would it take for you to consider your life successful? What relationships or accomplishments will be important on this journey?
