This fellowship is being established in collaboration with Richard and Susan Hayden. It enables mid-career professionals to spend ten months at Chatham House working on a personal project of their choice.

Fellows contribute to the Institute’s main mission by strengthening their leadership skills and expanding their professional network in the field of international affairs. The Richard And Susan Hayden Academy Fellowship will run for ten months, from October 2021 to July 2022.

The fellow will be based at Chatham House in London on a full-time basis. However, working hours will be flexible, and portions of the program may be conducted online in accordance with COVID-19-compliant working practices.

Benefit

At the Richard And Susan Hayden Academy Fellowship fellows are entitled to a monthly stipend of £2,365. A small amount is set aside for relocation, fieldwork, and possible publication fees. The stipend will cover the cost of living in London, including housing, utilities, food, and transportation.
