Access Bank Womenpreneur Pitch-A-Ton Africa 2021

Access Bank Plc has launched the third edition of its Womenpreneur Pitcha-ton Africa program, which is part of the bank’s mission to equip female entrepreneurs with financial and entrepreneurial skills.

The Womenpreneur Pitch-a-ton Africa program aims to empower female-owned enterprises in Africa with access to capital, world-class business training, and mentoring opportunities. The goal of this program is to provide a supportive atmosphere for female entrepreneurs to expand their firms.

In its first year, the program awarded N9 million in financial incentives to the top five applicants, as well as a free mini MBA certification to 50 Nigerian women entrepreneurs. This was done with the help of the International Finance Corporation (IFC, a member of the World Bank Group).
