The Honourable Minister of Education (HME), Mallam Adamu Adamu, is pleased to announce the starting of the Federal Government Scholarship Award and is inviting applications from interested and qualified Nigerians to take part in the Federal Government Scholarship Award Nomination Computer Based Test (CBT)  2022 academic session.

Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for the Federal Government Scholarship Award the following requirements must be considered:

• Applicants for postgraduate study must have a first degree with a Second Class Honours Division or higher.
• The applicant must be a full-time student enrolled in a federal or state university.
• All other applicants (UG, HND, and NCE) must be full-time students enrolled in Federal or State Universities, Polytechnics, Monotechnics, or Colleges of Education in their second year or higher.
• All undergraduate Scholarship applicants (including physically challenged students) must have a cumulative grade point average (CGPA) of at least 4.0 on a five-point scale or equivalents or 5.0 on a seven-point scale.
• All NCE and HND applicants must have a CGPA of 3.5 and above on a scale of 4.0

Interview Date, Process, and Venue

• The scholarship is valid in Nigeria and will begin at the start of the academic year.
• It cannot be held concurrently with another Award, nor can it be used for part-time studies.
• Changing courses or institutions while receiving the award is not permitted

• Read Guidelines and then Complete the Application Form online
• Print the Examination slip.
• Double Entries will be disqualified!

NOTE:Come with one set of completed online printed form at the venue of the interviews

i) Candidates are advised to choose Computer Based Test Centre (CBT) very close to them;

iii) The registration portal will be opened 9th May 2022 to 20th June 2022.
