The Rhodes Scholarship for the 2022 academic session at the University of Oxford is now inviting applications from postgraduate students around the world.
About the Rhodes Scholarship
The Rhodes Scholarship is a fully funded, full-time postgraduate scholarship that allows bright young people from all around the world to study at Oxford. Applying for the Scholarship is difficult, but it is an experience that has aided the success of generations of young people. We welcome applications from brilliant students from all over the world.

Eligibility Criteria
Applicants interested in the program can visit the eligibility page of the Rhodes Scholarship to confirm their eligibility status. Simply enter your country name and click ‘Check your eligibility after entering your information in the box. If you have dual citizenship or have lived in several countries, we recommend choosing the country with which you have the deepest ties, such as your home country or the place where you have spent the most time.
Benefit
- The Rhodes Scholarship pays for tuition at Oxford University as well as an annual stipend.
- The stipend for the 2022 academic year is £17,310 per year (£1,442.50 per month), from which Scholars must cover all living expenses, including housing.
- The International Health Surcharge and the price for a student visa will be covered by the Trust (IHS)
- The Rhodes Trust will pay for two economy class flights to and from the United Kingdom at the start and finish of your study in Oxford.
- Scholars get a settling-in stipend, and those who transition to the second semester of study in Oxford will receive financial aid to cover the fee for visa renewal and, in the case of a course extension, a new application for HIS.
