The Kindle Storyteller Award is a £20,000 literary award that honors exceptional writing. It is open to writers who publish in English in any genre and use Kindle Direct Publishing to distribute their work. Readers, with the assistance of a panel of judges comprised of diverse book business specialists, play a crucial part in determining the winner.
Benefit
Each Finalist of the Kindle Storyteller Award will receive a Graphite, Waterproof, 7′′ High-Resolution Display (300 ppi), Built-In Audible, 32 GB, Free 3G + Wi-Fi Kindle Oasis E-reader. Only one Finalist Prize will be awarded if the Book chosen as a Finalist has two co-authors.
The following Grand Prize package will be awarded to one Grand Prize Winner:
- £20,000 cash or check award to be direct deposited or electronically wired to the Grand Prize winner’s account (assuming that such information is provided by the Grand Prize winner upon Amazon’s request); and
- Amazon.co.uk will offer a book launch merchandising package for the Grand Prize Winner’s book, the exact contents of which will be established at Amazon’s exclusive discretion.
Kindle Storyteller Award Application Procedure
• To enter for the Kindle Storyteller Award, go to the Kindle Direct Publishing (“KDP”) [sign-in-page] (https://kdp.amazon.com/en US/) during the Entry Period. Follow the instructions to upload and publish an original, previously unpublished English-language book authored by you (the “Book” or the “Entry”) to KDP, and include the precise phrase “StorytellerUK2022” (without quotation marks) in the “keywords” metadata section so that we can identify your Entry.
