Eligibility Criteria| Pan African University Scholarship
The Pan African University Scholarship is for applicants who meet the requirements below:
Masters
- Male applicants must be 30 years old, while female applicants must be 35 years old.
- Undergraduate degree in a relevant discipline from a recognized university with at least a second-class upper division or its equivalent;
- Certified copies of credentials and transcripts (from university and high school)
- Passport or national identification card (personal details page)
- Passport-sized colour photograph (2cmx2cm)
- CV
- Letter of recommendation from ONE of his/her former University instructors
- Names of three reference university lecturers (email addresses and Whatsapp numbers required)
PhD
- Male applicants must be 35 years old, while female applicants must be 40 years old.
- A Master’s degree from PAU or another globally recognized university in a relevant discipline;
- Certified copies of credentials and transcripts
- Passport or national identification card (personal information page);
- 2cmx2cm clear coloured passport photograph;
- CV
- Letters of recommendation from two professors;
- A three to four-page Research Concept Note (tentative title, research questions, aims, the significance of the research, and so on);
- Names of three reference university teachers (with email addresses and WhatsApp numbers) are required.
NOTE
Following pre-selection, candidates may be required to take a written/oral examination.
Candidates for the Master of Conference Interpreting and Translation programs must be fluent in at least two of the African Union’s official languages (Arabic, English, French and Portuguese).
