Hokkaido University School/ Faculty of Veterinary Medicine is accepting applications for the World Leading Innovative and Smart Education (WISE) Program Scholarship. The WISE Scholarship program Entrance Examination in Veterinary Medicine/Infectious Disease is open to interested and eligible international students.

In the Cooperative Veterinary Education Program, the School of Veterinary Medicine has established degree conferral requirements that ensure the specialized qualities required of ideal veterinarians, VetNorth Japan is a program co-sponsored by Obihiro University of Agriculture and Veterinary Medicine that awards a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine to students who have demonstrated the appropriate talents and credits.
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must meet the requirements below;
- The Wise Scholarship Program is open to international students.
- An awareness of the logic and ethics that veterinarians must follow in their responsibilities Proficient knowledge and abilities in the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of animal diseases, as well as the maintenance and enhancement of animal and public health
- The worldwide perspectives, expertise, and specialized abilities required to contribute to the resolution of global concerns such as food supply stability, livestock animal sanitary management, livestock product safety, and zoonoses control.
- Through research experience in cutting-edge life sciences, veterinary medicine problem-solving talents, and the ability to undertake worldwide activities for new discoveries in life phenomena and drug development.
