The Namibia University of Science and Technology is pleased to announce the commencement of the Intra-Africa Staff Mobility Scholarship under the Intra-Africa Staff Mobility Scheme to encourage cooperation between African countries.
The program’s goal is to develop students’ and staff’s abilities and competencies through increased mobility among African countries.
The specific objective is to implement Master’s, Doctoral level, and staff mobilities through a robust graduate research and study program (GRSP) on Food, Energy, and Water Security (F.E.W.S), in collaboration with a suite of academic programs offered by the partner schools.

Eligibility Criteria| Intra-Africa Staff Mobility Scholarship
The Intra-Africa Staff Mobility Scholarship is open to:
- African nationals and/or residents who are staff, alumni, and/or students at one of the Partner Universities at the time of application or who have received a qualification from one of the Universities involved in the partnership.
Benefit
The scholarship package includes the following items:
• One (1) return airplane ticket in accordance with the travel bands
• Visa fees associated with mobility
Monthly stipend
• ¤ 600 for master’s degrees and ¤ 900 for doctorates
• A one-month stipend for settling in
• One month’s extra pay for female candidates Insurance costs (medical, travel, accident)
• ¤ 75 per month maximum
Degree-seeking:
Longer mobilities (Master’s or Doctoral) registered at a host University for purposes of obtaining a Degree.
Credit seeking:
Shorter mobilities (Master’s or Doctoral), registered at home University who would enroll at host University to gather credits towards the registered degree
